Maintenance Technician Level 1 (Mechanical)

Summary: The Level 1 Maintenance Technician is a skilled mechanical troubleshooter capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical equipment independently. This role does not require direct supervision and is not a helper position.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including presses, conveyors, and fabrication machinery.

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.

Replace bearings, belts, chains, gears, and other mechanical components.

Document maintenance activities and report issues proactively.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

2+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.

Commitment to safety and extreme ownership principles.
