Videos Duties Help * Provides guidance on the development and implementation of enterprise programs, such as the V-Umbrella Applications (VAPPS), DLA Portfolio and Architecture Tool Suite (DPATS), and other applications supported by the Portfolio.

* Provides expert guidance and leads in the area of Enterprise Architecture tools implementation and sustainment.

* Participates in the AOA (Analysis of Alternatives) process to evaluate capabilities/solutions/tools and technologies to meet the requirements.

* Provides IT systems analysis/engineering support and expertise for the overall strategy, formulation, oversight, rationalization and guidance for the implementation and deployment...

* Advises teams of functional analysis and IT professionals in the planning, designing, training, initial fielding, operation, and maintenance of the specific applications supported and DoD business information technology systems in general.

Qualifications To qualify for an IT Program Manager (PLCYPLN) your resume and supporting documentation must include: A.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position.

To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including Time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), Time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes: * Performs expert level skills in IT concepts, principles, and practices to plan, direct, and evaluate projects for Automated Information Systems.

* Performs expert evaluation and AOA (Analysis of Alternatives) of the tools and technologies to meet the business requirements.

* Expertise in using/implementing/supporting Enterprise Architecture tools.

* Applies analytical theories, principles, concepts methods, and techniques; large-scale deployments; and system development life-cycles.

* Plans and coordinates efforts of government and contractors involved in development, technology advancements, upgrades, design, and/or developmental engineering of logistics software applications.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
