The Quality Intern role is an exciting opportunity hosted by the Quality Department at our manufacturing and distribution facilities or headquarters. The selected candidate will begin this internship in May 2026 at our Columbus, Ohio site.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Quality Manager with:

Engaging in assigned tasks and continuous improvement projects across various areas of the Quality function.

Understanding all Quality systems, tools, processes, metrics, and standards.

Completing the three required Training Programs:

Microbial Control Program

Institutional Test Methods

Minitab & Basic Statistics training

Getting acquainted with the New Product Launch/Pipeline Process, including:

Ship to Hold Audit

Test Batches

Institutional Calibration Methods

Calibration database

As part of the role, you'll have contact with various employees and may be exposed to confidential and proprietary information, necessitating a review of criminal history to ensure the safety and reputation of our business operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university during the internship period.

Minimum overall GPA of 2.8.

At least one year of experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related science major.

Prior internship or co-op experience at Sherwin-Williams.

Previous experience in a related field or work experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division.

Experience in a team-oriented setting, whether through employment, extracurricular activities, or military service.

Positioned as a rising or current junior or senior at the start of the internship program.
