About The Position
Job Title: Staff Nurse, RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Registered Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Med Surg License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: None specified Must-Have: 1 year experience working Med Surg Description: The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes. The nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the patient's plan of care. They create an atmosphere that supports the mission to care, heal, and educate. As the primary caregiver, the Staff Nurse, RN provides direct patient care. They work collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient/family for optimal outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. Candidates may be asked to float to similar units and possibly to other locations. The nurse will work every other weekend. Holiday coverage is required.
