Job Details

What You’ll Do

Lead/manage the planning, design, and execution of private and public infrastructure and land development projects.

Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, and technical staff, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality work.

Prepare and review civil engineering designs, bid documents, regulatory plans, and construction support materials.

Engage directly with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders to foster strong, long-term relationships.

Contribute to business development efforts through proposal writing, fee estimates, and client presentations.

Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers while promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).

California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required).

15+ years of directly relevant experience in civil engineering (or 18 years total industry experience).

5+ years of management experience, including supervision of technical teams.

Strong background in land development, public works, and infrastructure design.

Local experience in San Diego County and California jurisdictions strongly preferred.

Expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Proven ability to manage client relationships, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.

Active participation in professional and community organizations is encouraged.
