The Warehouse and Yard Manager ensures a safe, consistent operational environment and builds a culture of teamwork and accountability.

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing cost-effective standard processes for warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, inventory verification, and delivery to internal and external customers.

The position is focused on a specific OFS area/location within Baker Hughes' Oilfield Services portfolio.

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

Lead and oversee warehouse & logistics operations, ensuring process quality and productivity.

Manage purchasing, receiving, shipping, and contract labor within warehouse scope.

Coordinate with project managers, global supply chain, and logistics vendors.

Strategically plan logistics for successful project delivery.

Drive cost reduction initiatives while meeting customer and safety requirements.

HSE & Quality Leadership

Champion the Perfect HSE Day and Perfect Quality Day campaigns.

Ensure safe operations, risk identification, and incident reporting.

Present incidents to the Incident Review Board (IRB).

Align with PL and Region HSE goals and strategies.

Operational Excellence

Execute UK-CEU Warehouse & Yard productivity strategy.

Define service level agreements with AMO and Service Delivery.

Monitor throughput, labor efficiency, and implement action plans.

Ensure 6S and Lean strategy execution.

Compliance & Performance

Oversee inventory and asset verification (CC/API).

Ensure adherence to global standards, cycle counting, and API policies.

Track financial metrics and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Review team qualifications and close out CAPAs from audits.

People & Culture

Own the Employee & Talent Strategy for UK-CEU Warehouse and Yard.

Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Lead hiring, RIF, termination, discipline, and performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Excel.
