About this Role:

The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for the successful installation and commissioning of Capsa - RoboPharma robotic automation and conveyance systems in pharmacy central fulfillment centers. This role requires a deep understanding of automation technology, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage complex installations.

Reporting to the Vice President, Field Services, the ideal candidate will have experience in implementing automation solutions and possess a hybrid of healthcare/pharmacy/technology knowledge and mechanical aptitude. This role is responsible for monitoring teams to ensure onsite installation timelines are being met, processes followed, staying alert for risk, and resolving issues as they arise. The successful contributor for this position must be able to execute standard project management processes, deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the highest quality implementation for our customers.

What You'll Do:

Lead the installation and commissioning of robotic automation and conveyance systems in central fulfillment centers

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation systems

Develop and execute detailed installation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management

Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and ensure readiness

Oversee the setup, calibration, and testing of robotic systems and conveyance equipment

Provide training and support to on-site staff on the operation and maintenance of automation systems

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the installation process

Document installation procedures, configurations, and any modifications made during the project

Create and maintain comprehensive project and process documentation

Report weekly status updates and identify obstacles or concerns that require resolution, communicating all relevant data to internal departments and external vendor partners

Identify areas for improvement in the product(s) and implementation process and recommend changes

Manage all vendor relationships that are associated with delivery of Pharmacy Automation Central Fill equipment

Other duties or special projects as assigned. What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing automation systems, preferably in the healthcare or pharmacy industry

Knowledge of network protocols, SQL database and technology is required

Strong technical knowledge of robotic automation and conveyance systems

Demonstrated experience in working with Field Services organizations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Ability to travel up to 12 weeks for initial onboarding training
