About the Role

This position reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor. You will work safely and as part of a collaborative team, focusing on the essential tasks of installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical plant equipment.

What You'll Accomplish

Execute electrical repairs and installations ranging from simple to complex within a manufacturing environment.

Plan jobs effectively based on project requirements.

Engage in electrical design and installation tasks.

Document both new and existing electrical installations as necessary.

Carry out repairs on critical equipment using available parts.

Install, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair PLC and HMI systems with proficiency.

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and adherence to safety standards.

Work independently while also being an active member of the team.

Effectively operate required equipment.

Complete necessary training to maintain certifications.

Communicate clearly across multiple organizational levels.

Maintain all company property in a clean and working order.

Understand equipment functions and plant processes.

Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety among peers.

What We're Looking For

Required Education: Associate's degree in the electrical or electronics field, or 5+ years of equivalent training or experience.

Required Work Experience: 5+ years in the field.

Required License: Current electrical journeyman license.

Additional Requirements:

Working knowledge of PLC programming; experience with CTI 505 and Allen-Bradley PLCs is advantageous.

Knowledge of HMI programming is appreciated.

Electrical and mechanical skills are essential.

Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Adherence to all safety protocols and effective use of Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a must.
