Lead QA Engineer

We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Playwright.

Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.

Manage and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and communication.

Write and maintain test scripts and queries using SQL to validate backend data integrity.

Support and mentor QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Contribute to test automation efforts in Ruby, enhancing coverage and efficiency. Qualifications:

Proven experience in leading QA efforts in agile environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.

Proficiency in JIRA, SQL, and Ruby for test automation and issue tracking.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments is a plus.
