Facilities Technician

Position: Facilities Technician

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay: $32 to $40/hour (depending on experience)

Experience:

2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in distribution center facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, and MHE maintenance.

1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles. Type: Full-time; Temporary

Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

Logic Staffing is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our distribution center team. Be part of our team, where teamwork, fun, wellness, and growth come together.

Job Description:

Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain an inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.

Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems, including basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components, including photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.

Diagnose, using test equipment, electrical and electronic control systems, and other related equipment, devices or components.

Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.

Assist with daily inspection of building perimeter, including general repairs. Position Requirements:

Basic understanding of schematics, plans, and blueprints.

Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.

Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day. Job Perks:
