We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Nov 16, 2025. This ongoing contract pool offers 13-week commitments with the potential to extend, focusing on night and variable shifts in a fast-paced community hospital environment.

Schedule: 13-week contracts, 144 hours monthly; heavy night shift requirement; APP shifts include 6a-6p, 2p-12a (priority), 1p-11p (priority), and 6p-6a (priority)
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide patient care in an emergency department within a hospital
Perform all lifesaving emergency procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line placement
Treat all patient age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric populations
Work collaboratively with robust specialist backup and coverage
Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
Manage high-acuity and high-volume trauma cases, with trauma experience highly preferred
Additional Information
Active Physician Assistant license required in Georgia
Strong trauma experience highly preferred due to acuity, volume, and setting
Candidates must be willing to work night shifts; those unable to work nights will not be considered
