Job Description

Ongoing locums opportunity in Obstetrics & Gynecology near Charlotte, South Carolina.

Engage in fulfilling inpatient care with a focus on Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Consistent opportunity of 1 week per month - flexible scheduling available.

Assignment does not require in-house call. Pager call can be taken from the hotel

Inpatient hospital setting with attentive support staff.

Collaborative environment with Family Nurse Practitioner support in the office.

Focus on high-quality patient care

Schedule

24-hour call shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Rounding on inpatients daily, including weekends.

Providers typically spend 2-4 hours with patients each day.

Cases and Procedures

Handle vaginal and cesarean deliveries confidently.

Provide ED consults for OBGYN patients as necessary.

Manage an average of 1-3 deliveries and 2-4 NST/observations daily.

Circumcision procedures not required

Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Active South Carolina license required.
