**About the Role:**
Are you ready to be the heartbeat of facility operations? As a CBRE Union Control Room Operator, you’ll monitor critical systems, respond to alarms, and coordinate with Help Desk, Engineering, and Facilities teams to ensure safe and efficient performance across the region. This role offers hands-on problem-solving, structured procedures, and the chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
**Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 12am - 8am**
This job is part of the Security and Fire job function. They are responsible for the organization's physical security and fire safety or other tangible assets.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Work with the Help Desk to route tickets to the proper teams.
+ Access critical equipment across the region and monitor for alarms. Determine the severity and cause of alarms and alerts from critical devices and act. Escalate problems to proper Facilities Managers.
+ Alert Engineering, Facilities, and Incident Response teams when a problem is severe enough to require the shutdown of equipment.
+ Maintain database of critical environments including floor plan information and equipment documentation.
+ Provide progress reporting, logging of incidents, ongoing follow-up, and close out.
+ Coordinate change management processes for all work in the critical environment.
+ Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
+ Evaluate and select solutions from established options.
+ Impact the team through the quality of the services or information provided.
+ Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
+ An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.
+ Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval.
+ Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.
+ Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc., CMMS, and BAS
+ Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive approach.
+ General math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. or complicated information within the team.

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Control Room Operator position is $31.00 per hour. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
