Journeyman Electrician - Crew Lead

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team as a Crew Lead. In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish — running residential remodels and new builds, coordinating with our Project Manager, and leading 1–2 apprentices on-site. You’ll ensure jobs are done right, on time, and up to code, while maintaining strong communication with clients and team members.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Crew Lead Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for leading a small team of electricians doing residential remodel projects and occasional commercial work. Most of our projects are a few weeks at a time, and you will have the opportunity to work on many different types of projects.

Lead a small crew on residential and light commercial projects.

Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

Work closely with our Project Manager to ensure projects are completed properly, on time and on budget.

Must be familiar with updated codes

Verify compliance and functionality of installations

Ability to solve problems independently

Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites

Maintain high degree of professionalism in conduct and appearance

High-quality communication with customers

Journeyman Electrician Qualifications

4-10 years of experience as an electrician

Utah Journeyman Electrician or Master License

Driver’s license and a clean driving record. Background and reference checks required.Company Description
