Summary/Purpose:
Under general supervision the employee will provide quality service for all products shipping and receiving in an organized and traceable manner.
Essential Functions:
Receive orders from customer service and process on the day the order is received.
Input and pack orders for shipping.
Ship literature and sample requests.
Oversee inventory of finished goods and notify appropriate personnel when stock runs low.
Receive materials in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
Complete monthly inventory reports.
Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Read, understand and follow procedures.
Work independently to perform daily operating tasks.
Maintain workplace in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
Required to be present in the work place during scheduled work hours.
Complete data on paperwork and enter into computer for product identification and traceability.
Box or palletize and ship product in a manner that ensures product is received intact.
Transport urgent shipments to local FedEx or UPS drop-off locations.
Work with Customer Service to ensure last minute orders are expedited.
Process Returned Goods as defined in S.O.P.
Work in a harmonious manner with others in the company and throughout the organization.
Work on special projects as assigned.
Process Returned Goods as defined in S.O.P.
Perform required secondary operations.
Backup Inventory Control in warehouse functions.
Maintain forklift certification.
Lock and secure building at the end of each normally scheduled day.
Marginal Functions:
Participate in other work functions as directed.

While performing the duties of this job:
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands or arms, and talk and hear.
The employee frequently will use either one or both hands to firmly grasp, push and/or pull.
The employee will occasionally reach overhead to grasp objects and lift or carry up to 60 pounds.
It will be necessary to be around equipment and machinery and work in a Clean room and or warehouse environment.
Normal 20/20 vision ability (with corrective lenses, if needed) is required.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
Skills:
Manual dexterity required.
Ability to read, understand and accurately complete documentation in English.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to function in a controlled environment regulated by FDA cGMPs. Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
Must maintain accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast paced, multi-task environment. Ability to accurately perform detail-oriented work.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and ability to perform these operations using units of American and metric measurement.
Ability to learn various software programs with training.
Experience:
Shipping and or receiving experience required. Basic windows computer knowledge.
FedEx and UPS computer platforms.
With forklift, hand trucks and other transporting equipment.
