Manifest Specialist

Together with your team, you will be responsible for managing all manifest-related processes across Algerian ports, ensuring smooth coordination with customs and port authorities. Your job will be to support Maersk’s integrated logistics solutions by handling manifest preparation, amendments, and compliance, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate all manifests and customs processes in Algeria.

• Handle amendments and tasks associated with manifests and customs documentation.

• Maintain strong and fluid relationships with Customs and Port Authorities.

• Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to ensure optimal service delivery.

• Support the Manifest Manager with area-related issues and initiatives.

• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for management.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

You possess excellent planning skills, and you have the ability to juggle different tasks at the same time without losing the bigger picture. You are detail-oriented and proactive, and your well-developed communication skills allow you to maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Moreover, you:

• Have proven experience handling manifest and customs processes.

• Are fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).

• Have advanced Excel skills.

• Have experience working with ALCES and Algeria Customs systems.

• Like spotting ways to optimize existing processes.

• Are adaptable and able to manage complex tasks.
