We’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Writer to join a busy automotive repair shop in Newburgh, NY. If you're organized, a great communicator, and have a strong understanding of vehicle service processes, this is a great opportunity to grow with a respected team.

What You’ll Do:

Greet customers and listen to their service needs or vehicle concerns

Create accurate work orders based on customer input and vehicle inspection

Provide clear, upfront estimates for parts and labor

Explain recommended repairs and services in a customer-friendly way

Maintain communication between the customer and technician throughout the repair process

Keep customers updated on service status and timelines

Process payments and close out service tickets accuratelyWhat We’re Looking For:

Prior experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar customer-facing automotive role

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Basic understanding of vehicle systems and repair terminology

Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
