Job Summary:

The Outdoor Restaurant Supervisor supports the daily operations of an outdoor food and beverage outlet, ensuring a high standard of service, product quality, and guest satisfaction. This role assists the manager with supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The supervisor plays a key role in motivating the team, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting operational goals.

Education & Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in a food & beverage or hospitality role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.

High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality coursework or certifications are a plus.

Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department regulations, and basic liquor laws is essential.

Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, including verbal and written communication.

Proven ability to deliver warm, family-style service with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Must be able to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Comfortable working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions (sun, heat, rain, wind, cold).

Able to work in fast-paced, noisy, and high-volume settings.

Medium physical effort – must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
