Zapps Wholesale is a wholesale distribution company, providing truckloads of raw, unprocessed product to our customers, whether they have retail stores, bin stores, sell online, or export overseas. Our facility operates on a truckload in/truckload out basis, managing inbound and outbound truckloads throughout the week.

About the role

In this role, you will work on Operations team, managing incoming and outgoing truckloads, from checking all truckloads for accuracy. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will unload deliveries from trucks, move inventory to the correct locations, fulfill orders, load up trucks for outbound orders, and ensure the various areas in our warehouse are well-kept. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately, from identification of the truckload to loading or unloading and communicating with the driver.

Responsibilities

Receive and load inbound and outbound truckloads by using necessary measures (i.e. forklift, hand truck, hand load, double stack, etc)

Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy in accordance with our warehouse management system

Identify product and maintain full understanding off the sales methods used (online auction, truckload, pallet, retail)

Process auction items for listing on e-commerce website, including operating a camera, photo folder, and spreadsheet program

Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines and develop plans on how to accomplish company goals

Operate a forklift and other associated machinery to fulfill the job requirements

Create and maintain a culture of safety by following safety standards and expectations

Able to work standing for 8 hour shifts and lift 50 lbs regularly

Maintain a clean and organized work space (including regular housekeeping tasks)

Engage in high quality customer service techniques with customer, including in person, phone, email and other types of communication

Candidate requirements

Strong Communication Skills

Self-driven and motivated mindset

Valid Driver’s License

Forklift Certification and experience preferred

Considerable knowledge of warehouse operations, organization and practice

Strong Leadership Skills

Basic Computer Skills with experience using Mac-based system
