Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a self-starter highly motivated Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination Field Service Representative, for the ATHENA-R Program. This position will interface with the U.S. Army OCONUS SIGINT Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination team to validate data integrity and assist in troubleshooting application and network issues on the U.S. Army ground architecture network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Validation of Mission data for ELINT and COMINT sensors
Assist in diagnostics and troubleshooting of ground network architecture
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting to determine if failure is network based or PED Application based
Interface with ground network architecture maintenance team and assist as needed to resolve network issues
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues between airborne network architecture and ground PED network architecture
Have a strong understanding of Linux systems administration
Have a strong understanding of light scripting (bash/python)
Have a strong understanding of sensor operations and PED applications such as EPED, SCEPTRE, FUSE and enterprise applications
Working knowledge of DoD Encryption devices such as KG-250 and KG-175
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
5 years of experience in the IT and Network Engineering field or direct PED Experience
5 - 10 years of experience in the IT and Network Engineering field or direct PED Experience (if applicant doesn’t have relative degree)
Strong COMINT and ELINT background
Security+ CE Certification
Microsoft Azure/Cloud Server Fundamentals
ITIL V4 Foundation
Have a strong understanding of Joint Military, Multi-National Military operations in the INDO-PACOM theater of operations
Be willing to work in austere environments
Be willing to work on a rotation or to relocate to South Korea full time
Strong people skills and a professional customer oriented approach
Preferred skills:
Fluent in the Korea language (verbal and written)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field. Relevant experience can be substituted for education requirement
Clearance
DoD Top Secret//SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph required
