About the team:

Purpose:

Develop our brands, volume, and value in the On Trade channel through commercial plans built in conjunction with the assigned clients in Lima.

Market Context:

The South LAC market is a highly diverse business which includes Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia & Ecuador. This has been identified as a key market for Diageo, given its size, (US$200M NSV, with US$55M coming from Peru), complexity and Diageo’s ambition for this geography as an engine of growth.

Lima accounts for 70% of the total On Trade business nationwide.

Decision Making:

Lead the development of our brands in the universe of outlets to drive growth with our portfolio.

Show great understanding of the channel, its dynamic s and opportunities.

Execute our brands brilliantly by developing experiences according to consumer motivations and occasions, based on our strategic priorities of recruitment and premiumization.

Financial Responsibilities:

Accountable for the management of assigned A&P, Trade Spend dedicated to the clients of the call of universe.

Monthly monitoring of the performance (sell out, Trade Spend, P&L, activations, M&E) of top customers.

Management of T&E.

Leadership Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial management of the called on universe (top accounts).

Align business plans together with customers according to the needs of both parties, acting as a strategic partners.

Lead the definition of commercial plans (JBP) with customers.

Work and influence On Trade sales from Distributor at the service of these top customers.

Build extraordinary relationships with the owners and staff at each assigned location.

Develop the activation plan in conjunction with the CMO and CP&A team.

Comply with the activation plan by coordinating and supervising the execution in conjunction with the Distributor and BTL agency.

Execute 100% of the minimum execution standards according to the defined segmentation of the on trade channel.

Provide solutions to clients needs in administrative issues (Coding, signing, contracts, PO s, billing, etc).

Responsible for the DBA agenda implemented across the universe of customers.

Key Outputs / Deliverables:

Generate growth and constant evolution in the assigned client portfolio in business metrics such as: Sell Out, Ditribution, Trade Spend, NSV, %GM.

Analyze on a monthly basis the performance (Sell out, Dist, TS, NSV, M&E) of the brands and categories across customers, with special focus on JCP's list.

Responsible of monitoring DBA metrics.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

College / University Graduate, preferred careers of business administration, marketing. Minimun 3 years of experience in similar positions in FMCG companies. Ideal with experience in On Trade / On premise channel, not mandatory.

- Managing third party relationships; outstanding interpersonal skills.

- Excellent Presentation skills.

- Intermediate level (English).

- Project and budget management.

- Track record of success in of generating excellent results.

- Knowledge of the market, consumers.

- Analytical skills to bring opportunities and translate them into actions.
