The NSW, ACT and NZ Manager is responsible for leading the NSW team and growing sales from key accounts in their territories, NSW, ACT, New Zealand. Sales focus includes WS Manufacturers, resellers, end customers and promotion via A&D. Representatives are responsible for educating their prospects and customers on the benefits of sophisticated ergonomic work tools and leveraging that knowledge in the sale of our products and services. The NSW team, work from our flagship Sydney showroom as well as externally visiting customers, members of the A+D community, Workstation manufacturers and others.
Responsibilities
Responsible for hiring, developing and leading a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals, through fostering a high-performance culture
Drive the strategic direction and execution of the sales plan for the region to achieve growth objectives
Assist in advancing the sales process for individual sales opportunities within the team
Educating, marketing and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to and through partners, key accounts and end users
Maintain high level sales activity at all times with minimum of 10 sales appointments per week for self and team members
Assess sales probability and forecast revenue expectations
Observe and participate in weekly sales calls with all team members for sales development and coaching
Assess sales representative skill sets, create and maintain individual development plans
Implement established corporate policies, procedures, strategies and manage sales budget
Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, dealers and industry stakeholders
Identify new market opportunities and implement initiatives to expand our presence
Set up product tests or demonstrations for end-users / partners / key accounts as necessary
Deliver presentations for prospective clients
Facilitate partner/key account training sessions on ergonomics & Humanscale products
Lead strategic business and forecasting discussions with partner/key account principles to meet sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer sales
Strong understanding of all Humanscale’s products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, sit/stand, lighting and other ergonomic work tools
Complete sales forecast reports for accounts, bookings and invoiced numbers on a fortnightly basis plus 30-60-90 Day forecast reports and the customer contact database
Work effectively and efficiently with MD and other Humanscale colleagues to achieve corporate objectives
Achieve YOY revenue growth from Partners/key accounts
Manage dealer, distributor and direct channel conflict
Serves as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters
Qualifications
Candidate will have 7-10+ years business sales experience
Candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of proven successful management or leadership responsibility
Candidate will have 8+ years’ business sales experience within the partner / dealer sector
Bachelor's degree, business, marketing or communications major preferred
Successful track record of managing a mixed sales team
Successful track record of planning and execution
Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are required
Based in Sydney
Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities
Proven successful follow-up and closing skills
Lifting up to 18kg
