CNC Programmer

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a CNC Programmer in Eldridge, IA!

Schedule is Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Pay rate is $28-30/hour, depending on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and write programs at the controller for various parts using Mazatrol and FANUC controllers.

Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Align and secure materials on machines; position parts into jigs, fixtures, and guides using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

Select and manage appropriate tooling for each job.

Apply proper tooling techniques for specific applications.

Identify worn tooling and make adjustments to maintain required tolerances.

Verify material grade, size, and quantity through visual inspection and measurement.

Requirements

Must successfully pass a skills-based assessment covering reading, math, inspection/measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving.

High school diploma or GED required.

13 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers.

Hands-on experience with FANUC and Mazatrol controllers.

Strong working knowledge of G and M codes for vertical machining centers.

Familiarity with CAD software related to CNC machining.

Advanced math skills with the ability to calculate feeds and speeds.

Proficiency with measurement tools, including tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.

Ability to meet physical requirements for vision, hearing, and mobility.

Successful candidates will participate in a registered apprenticeship program as part of onboarding and training.
