UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER

Overview

Now Hiring an Unarmed Security Officer. Various shifts are available on the Northwest Side of Houston Fallbrook Area (not on a bus route). Weekend and holiday availability is required. Previous security or customer service experience is preferred and state training/licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules on the premises.

Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms, patrol areas, and perform security checks as assigned.

Check credentials of vehicles and individuals entering or leaving the premises.

Greet residents and guests, manage access control, and respond to incidents as needed.

Available Positions

Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent vandalism or theft.

Gatehouse: Greet visitors, log vehicles, control access, and announce visitors.

Front Desk: Customer service, access control, monitor CCTV, and distribute packages.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age or older

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid state licensing, if applicable

Strong customer service skills

Familiarity with report writing

Monitoring and surveillance experience

Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

Previous security experience is a plus, but not required
