The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities, maintaining business continuity, and supporting customers with quality and regulatory challenges. Establish, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with Nutrace, certification schemes, and customer requirements.

Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards through internal audits, supplier audits, and regular compliance assessments.

Manage quality assurance systems and lead certification projects to meet global and customer-specific quality standards.

Handle customer complaints, incidents, and non-conformances using structured root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Act as the primary quality contact for customers, providing documentation and technical support.

Train internal teams on FSQ topics and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in animal science, Quality Management, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or regulatory management within animal nutrition/feed or related industries.

Strong knowledge of quality systems, certification standards (ISO22000, GMP+, FSSC22000, FCA), and regulatory frameworks.

Proven ability to manage audits, complaints handling, and continuous improvement programs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage internal teams, customers, and regulators effectively.

Ability to work under pressure with agility and attention to detail; assertive yet collaborative approach.

Fluent in English; additional languages (French/Arabic) are an advantage given MEA region coverage.

Willingness to travel (~15%) within Africa and the Middle East.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a detail-oriented, resilient professional with a strong passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement. Quality is at the core of how you work, you bring deep technical expertise, a structured approach, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards. While regulatory knowledge is a plus, your primary strength lies in ensuring robust quality systems that support business growth.
