Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist
The department of Human Resources supports the staff and management of The Ohio State University Medical Center. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, professional associations, academic relations, and the community at large.
Serves as a key member of the Medical Center Recruitment Team responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that will result in the successful recruitment of various healthcare professionals, both clinical and non-clinical. This position provides consultation on recruitment strategy and partners with business unit leaders, faculty, administration, directors and department managers, administration and staff to understand current and projected recruitment needs of each department. Works closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and other HR team members to ensure alignment of recruitment initiatives with HR and business unit goals and strategy. Position is managed by the Director or Associate Director and closely interacts with the entire Employment Team.
Key responsibilities include sourcing candidates from various job boards, resume databases, social media and other niche sites; identifying, attracting, evaluating and building relationships with passive and active job seekers; proactively developing and maintaining a robust and diverse pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs; conducting phone screens and virtual interviews, and disposition candidate statuses accordingly within our applicant tracking system (ATS); assisting with reviewing and processing job applications within the ATS; managing multiple searches while effectively remaining organized and communicating with potential candidates regularly; and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2 years of relevant experience, experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday, strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and tools, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be highly organized and strategic, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
