Blanchard Grinder Machine Operator/Rotary Grinder Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Blanchard Grinder Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Blanchard grinding machines to grind and finish steel parts to specifications.

Duties include performing light maintenance on equipment, monitoring quality throughout the process, and packaging finished steel for shipment.

Details:

Time: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)

45min lunch (12-12:45pm) 15min paid of lunch

Pay: $23-$27 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Blanchard grinders to meet production requirements

Perform light maintenance and cleaning on machines

Inspect parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met

Safely package and prepare steel parts for shipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience with Blanchard grinders

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to lift and move steel parts as needed

Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
