Experienced HVAC/Plumbing Counter Sales Associate

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and customer-oriented HVAC / Plumbing Counter Sales Associate to join our Winsupply of Elmsford team. This individual will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our customers, assisting them with their HVAC needs, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers at the counter/telephone providing service/advice on HVAC products, pricing, availability and solutions.

- Process sales transactions, including picking orders efficiently and accurately.

- Inform customers of promotions, volume purchasing and other incentives (as appropriate).

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product inventory, staying informed about the latest HVAC technologies and trends.

- Work closely with the warehouse manager to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

- Ensure the sales area is clean, organized and well-stocked.

Requirements:

- 2 Year Experience required in the HVAC / Plumbing Industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in using computer systems.

- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug tests.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands here are represented of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

- Able to sit/stand/move for extended periods of time performing computer related functions and/or assisting in the warehouse.

- Safety lift and handle material weighing up to 50-100+ pounds.

- Certified to drive a forklift (optional).

Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday, Rotating Saturdays.
