You’ll be responsible for:
Develop and implement corporate responsible business strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with ESG principles across all operations.
Drive the delivery of ESG strategies by defining short- and long-term roadmaps, supported by CAPEX planning, and applied throughout the full value chain—from corporate governance to asset-level execution.
Conduct Double Materiality Assessments involving all relevant stakeholders, integrating both financial and impact perspectives to produce a comprehensive materiality matrix.
Perform CSRD gap analyses on corporate sustainability reports and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement to ensure compliance with evolving EU regulations.
Ensure ESG compliance across real estate portfolios, from early design phases through to on-site construction, embedding sustainability into every stage of project delivery.
Develop EU Taxonomy alignment reports by assessing project eligibility and prescribing necessary measures to meet regulatory standards.
Contribute to positioning Mace as a market leader in ESG strategy and sustainable development.
You’ll need to have:
Excellent knowledge of current sustainability regulations, with a particular focus on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Experienced in the development of Sustainability Reports.
Solid understanding of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), including its implications for financial and non-financial entities.
Proven track record in enhancing sustainability performance within the real estate sector, from early design stages to operational delivery.
Fluency in Spanish and English
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with client and stakeholders including design team members, contractors, sub-contractors, and regulators.
