The role entails primary accountability for ensuring rigorous adherence to processes, policies, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining the accurate and timely accounting of assigned legal entity(s). This includes meticulous attention to detail to guarantee completeness and accuracy in financial records, alongside alignment with BMI policies, standards, and local statutory regulations. Additionally, the position demands a commitment to delivering consistent and high-quality support to our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner, and driving towards the achievement and ongoing enhancement of R2R accounting KPI targets.

What you will be responsible for:

Ensure flawless execution of R2R activities (journals bookings, adjustments, VAT preparation and other direct responsibilities in line with accounting policies and standards)

Review and approve BPO R2R deliverables of assigned scope of activities

Collaborate with BPO R2R team members regularly to ensure accurate and qualitative financial results

Take part in the preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement for assigned scope of Legal Entities

Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations engaging other teams, if necessary

Support audits with information and explanations as required

Support business partners through educating and advising them on accounting matters ensuring the business activities are correctly reflecting in the books of record

Ensure that key month end close deadlines are met including KPI targets

Responsible for accurate and timely responses via GBS Finance Hub

Work in conjunction with Intercompany team, Statutory team and Tax with inputs/outputs to support these interrelated processes

Maintain long-term collaborative cooperation with the L2C/S2P towers, BPO partner & business stakeholders

Other ad-hoc requests assigned by the R2R Sr Accountant, TL or Manager

About you:

2+ years of proven experience in accounting field

Preferable experience in global GBS/SSC environment

Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)

Accounting ERP user (SAP etc)

Experience with consolidation systems (HFM etc) is an advantage

Proficiency in using MS Excel and/or Google Sheets

Self starter for solving process related problems

Strong team player

Strong engagement with all stakeholders

English (at least B1)

Attention to details and accuracy

Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a fast-paced environment

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 2500 and 3200 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
