We are seeking a Mechanic Maintenance Technician / Fabricator Engineer to support our growing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of food manufacturing equipment through maintenance, repair, fabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging machinery.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment components as needed.

Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, FDA, and USDA standards at all times.

Conduct safety inspections and follow established workplace safety protocols.

Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and compliance documentation.

Support equipment installation, modifications, and upgrades.

Collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical certification preferred.

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or a related industry (frozen food industry experience a plus).

Strong background in fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical repair.

Working knowledge of food safety regulatory requirements (SQF, HACCP, FDA, USDA).

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.Compensation and Benefits
