Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned PLM Program Manager for our Semiconductor industry client with 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry. This role will lead strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize our PLM ecosystem, with a strong focus on NPI process improvements, CAD/EDA integration, and end-to-end engineering process transformation. The ideal candidate will be platform-agnostic but bring hands-on experience with Agile PLM, PTC Windchill, or Siemens Teamcenter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide PLM programs focused on NPI process optimization, including
design release, BOM management, and engineering change control.
- Drive CAD (MCAD/ECAD) and EDA tool integration into PLM to enable seamless design
data flow and traceability.
- Oversee end-to-end engineering process transformation, including sample
management for high-volume samples, PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tracking,
and variant and TO (Tape Out) management processes for mask generation in
semiconductor manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, product development, supply
chain, and IT—to define scalable and sustainable PLM solutions.
- Develop and execute PLM modernization roadmaps, including architecture upgrades,
process harmonization, and global rollouts.
- Ensure PLM systems support compliance, traceability, and quality standards
throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, change management, and user adoption across
global teams.
- Monitor program KPIs and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s
preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in PLM program management within the semiconductor or
high-tech manufacturing domain.
- Deep understanding of NPI value chain processes, sample lifecycle management, PPM
metrics, variant configuration, and Mask management/ TO processes.
- Experience integrating CAD/EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor, Altium, Creo,
SolidWorks) with PLM platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise tools like ADO or Jira.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Agile PLM, PTC Windchill, or Siemens Teamcenter.
- Exposure to PLM-ERP-MES integrations and digital thread initiatives.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with distributed teams.
