Position Summary

Emir Repair Shop is hiring a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. No prior experience is required — we are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Pay is $18.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience level and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment: oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, fluid checks

Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues: engines, brakes, electrical, cooling, suspension, and hydraulics.

Repair or replace parts under supervision, including belts, hoses, filters, brakes, etc.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults.

Maintain tools, work area, and equipment; ensure cleanliness and organization.

Follow safety procedures and company policies; ensure all repairs meet safety standards.

Keep records of maintenance and repair work performed.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand and power tools.

Willingness to learn; open to on-the-job training.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures.

Reliable, punctual, good communication skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team.Company Description
