We’re working with a respected local law firm that’s grown steadily by doing things the right wayoffering a calm, competent service and treating both clients and colleagues with care. They’re now looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their friendly residential and commercial property team. About the role

You’ll be managing your own caseload of residential and commercial property files from instruction through to completion. The work is variedsales, purchases, landlord and tenant, transfers of equity, re-mortgagesand the pace is steady but sensible. The firm has strong systems in place, experienced support staff, and a loyal client base, meaning you can focus on the legal work rather than constant fire-fighting or chasing. The role is fully office-based during the probationary period with an option for hybrid working after probation, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys team interaction and working collaboratively.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Key duties

Running your own caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters

Communicating clearly with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors

Ensuring compliance and accuracy at each stage of the transaction

Assisting with the development of junior team members if needed

Playing an active role in maintaining the firm's reputation for client care

Key requirements

A qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with a solid grounding in conveyancing

Comfortable managing files from start to finish with minimal supervision

Strong communication skills, particularly when explaining legal matters in plain English

A steady, organised approach and good attention to detail

Keen to work in a collaborative, team-focused environment
