Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced& Construction Manager / Client Representative& to lead a luxury hospitality development project in Irvington, VA. You will serve as the owner’s on-site representative, coordinating contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and designers. This role demands someone who can balance& immediate project execution& with& long-term planning and scalable systems-building.
Experience in luxury hotels, large-scale remodels, or high-end residential construction is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Project Manager to define and achieve project goals.
Act as the primary on-site representative, ensuring execution aligns with project scope, design, and quality standards.
Oversee daily operations, including:
Setting performance goals and timelines.
Managing subcontractors and trades.
Supervising staff and giving constructive feedback.
Monitoring project progress and reporting to stakeholders.
Coordinating inspections and obtaining permits.
Enforcing safety and regulatory compliance.
Managing materials, equipment, and supply orders.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site.
Resolve on-site issues and manage crises effectively.
Support financial oversight by assisting with pay applications, budgets, and change orders.
Prepare the project and team for upcoming expansion and additional builds.
Qualifications
Minimum& 5 years of progressive construction management/superintendent experience& with projects valued at $5M+.
Strong knowledge of& field operations, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Experience with& luxury hospitality or high-end residential projects& preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to build trust with owners, contractors, and subcontractors alike.
