Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Legal Assistant at McCraw & Ginn in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks such as legal document preparation, communication with clients, research, and document review.

To excel in this role, an individual must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency, meticulous organizational skills, an unwavering attention to detail, and a profound understanding of how to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. The Legal Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of investigative documents while diligently adhering to established processes and procedures. This role is essential to the attainment of the department's overarching goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and understanding of law and legal procedures

Experience in legal document preparation

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data

Skilled in document review and management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Coursework in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred

Experience with personal injury or civil litigation is a plus

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
