Director of Technology

About The Role:

Define and execute the company’s long-term technical vision, aligning technology initiatives with overall business goals and client needs

Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology goals with overall business strategy

Align AI initiatives with business goals to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency

Build and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, collaborating with the Security Manager to implement risk mitigation strategies

Lead the implementation of technology solutions and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing hands-on assistance as needed

Stay ahead of evolving security threats and lead incident response and disaster recovery planning

Collaborate on internal security posture and ensure all services meet or exceed compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, ISO 27001)

Own the technology and infrastructure budget; manage costs, licensing, and resource allocation

Requirements & Qualifications:

Demonstrated integrity and strong ethical standards; trusted with access to sensitive systems, data, and infrastructure

Excellent communicator, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Availability outside regular business hours as needed to support critical issues or emergencies

Bachelor's degree in safety management, information technology systems, or a similar field

5+ years of experience in technology leadership role at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment

Deep understanding of MSP delivery models, SLAs, and client lifecycle management

Familiarity with RPA technologies and effective use of generative AI tools in business processes is required; Experience implementing these technologies a plus

Experience integrating AI solutions into an MSP service delivery model

Demonstrated success in leading security programs and compliance initiatives

SOC 2 or similar framework background is a plus
