Full – time: CHEF

SALARY $76,515 + SUPERANNUATION

DUTIES

• planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

• preparing and cooking food

• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

• select and train staff

• freeze and preserve foods

• maintain occupational health and safety at work at times

• all tasks to be carried out in accordance with the job sheet

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must hold qualification in commercial cookery

Have at least 2 years work experience in the industry

Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision
