Summary Entry level position.

Operate machines to perform standardized operations.

Recognize defective materials and machine malfunctions.

Observe continuous operation of machines to ensure that products meet specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• 100% attendance, be on-time, be mentally present • Performs forge operations and assist with set-ups in accordance with Operation Standards and Work Instructions • Read and understand inventory tags and work instructions • Fill-in appropriate information on labels and associated documentation when necessary • Position and secure inserts, hand loads and work pieces on machines • Remove finished products from machines, using hand tools and other equipment • While performing your forging responsibilities, visually inspect products for surface defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications • Understand and maintain Engel Tool + Forge and customer quality standards • Assist with start-ups and change-overs • Responsible for clean-up procedures • Perform re-work duties as assigned • Relieve other operators for breaks as needed • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks • Bring a positive attitude to work each day Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Skills: • Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly • Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems • Quality Control - Work to understand and then be an active observer of all processes with the goal ensuring part consistency/quality.

Ask questions about other roles; what others do, what skills are used Abilities • Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.

• Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

• Multi-limb Coordination - The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while standing.

It does involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.

• Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) to ensure part quality meets customer requirements.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

• Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects.

The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

• Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing
