SUMMARY:

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for fabricating thermoplastic products to meet customer quality requirements, while meticulously following process instructions and maintaining accurate records of inspection and material usage. Additionally, adhering to standard operating procedures and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards through visual inspection, testing, and documentation of results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Fabricate thermo-plastic products and/or materials that meet customer quality requirements

Retain accurate records of inspection, time and material usage are kept

Follow all process instructions when fabricating customer parts

Maintain work area and material storage clean and orderly

Keep part traceability and identification requirements

Perform all duties in accordance with specific Work Orders using proper equipment, material usage, packaging, etc.

Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards

Inspect products by means of visual examination, testing, verifying measurements and documenting results

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

Prior experience working in a thermoplastic manufacturing environment is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Seeks ways to improve and promote quality

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, ensuring attention to detail

Adapts well to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands

Takes responsibility for own actions.
