Estate Services Manager

Basildon

£42,435 - £44,669 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

We have an opportunity for a Estate Services Manager to join our newly formed Estate Services team based in Basildon. As Estate Services Manager you will cover different sites across the region and your daily activities will include coordinating a team of approx. 8 Caretakers and 6 Grounds Operatives to deliver a variety of cleaning, caretaking and grounds maintenance services. You will be provided with a company van and will have opportunities to develop your career within Sanctuary.

The role of Estate Services Manager will include:

Managing the delivery of services to our stake holders in Sanctuary

Ensuring the team are working effectively and safely

Managing our frontline grounds maintenance, cleaning and compliance team

Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations

Support, monitor and review constantly, both self and sub-contractor delivery and performance

Skills and experiences:

Recent experience of undertaking a similar role managing front line teams providing grounds maintenance and cleaning

Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation

Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads

Basic user of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar)

This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

£42,435 per annum (rising to £44,669 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
