Join Friarsgate-Ballentine Animal Hospital as a Licensed Veterinary Technician!
We’re seeking an experienced LVT ready to fully utilize their skills while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets. With services ranging from wellness care to ultrasound, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, and dentistry, every day brings opportunities to grow and expand your expertise.
This role is perfect for detail-oriented technicians who thrive in a supportive, team-focused environment and want to work at the top of their license. Our collaborative 6-doctor team values professionalism, clear communication, and a sense of humor—celebrating wins and supporting each other along the way.
Schedule: Full-time, 4x10 schedule, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
Compensation: $20-24 per hour, for each hour worked*
Bonus package: $2000
CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
3+ of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of South Carolina
Proficiency in the following skills:
Anesthesia induction and maintenance
Surgical preparation and assisting
Outpatient care and exam room assistance
Gentle patient restraint
Client communication / education
Radiology positioning and technique
Venipuncture and sample collection
