\nMinimum experience: 12 - 18 months in high acuity cardiac PICU required.

Level I Trauma experience highly preferred.

\nSpecial skills: Use critical thinking and cardiac, High acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests.\n\nUnit: West 3 – Pediatric CICU; 24 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates/infants up to adult congenital patient.

RNs provide coordination and management of patient care for patients and families.

Use critical thinking and cardiac assessments to provide nursing care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients.

Provide nursing care for the hemodynamically compromised patients and patients with impending respiratory failure.\nScrub Colors: Any professional scrubs\nJewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose.

No other visible body piercings (e.g.

tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.\n\n**Flu vaccine required.
