Job Purpose
Support the company’s maintenance program by focusing on plant equipment and building maintenance in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Essential Functions
Train Maintenance Technicians to electronically troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment using installed PLC/programming
Electronically troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment using installed PLC/programming
Train Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives)
Train Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
Train Maintenance Technicians to fabricate replacement parts or equipment as needed
Electronically troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment by means of installed PLC
Troubleshoot control circuits
Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel
Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies
2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 7+ years in maintenance mechanic roles, including repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
PLC installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair experience essential
Advanced stick and tig welding skills; ability to weld to sanitary standards desired
Ability to work off shifts and weekends as needed; on-call availability
Advanced knowledge of CMMS
Working knowledge of lockout/tagout programs
Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $83,000 to $103,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
