Job Summary The Accounts and Administration Assistant provides support in managing the Centre's financial and administrative operations.

The role ensures accurate financial documentation, smooth office administration, and efficient coordination of resources to support clinical and non-clinical teams.

Minimum Qualification : Diploma Experience Level : Entry level Experience Length : 2 years Working Hours : Full Time Job Description/Requirements 1.

Accounting & Finance Record daily Centre's financial transactions, including patient billing, receipts, and supplier payments.

Prepare payment vouchers, requisitions, and staff accountabilities.

Assist with preparation of periodic financial reports for management and board review.

Support bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.

Ensure systematic filing of hospital financial records for audit readiness.

Support audits and compliance inspections (both internal and external). 2.

Administration Manage Centre's office supplies, utilities, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations.

Maintain staff attendance records, duty rosters, and leave schedules in coordination with HR.

Handle Centre's correspondence, reception duties, and patient inquiries in a professional manner.

Organize logistics for referrals, staff travel, and visiting specialists.

Support procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of medical supplies, drugs, and equipment.

Maintain accurate records of service providers, contracts, and suppliers relevant to healthcare services.

Key Relationships Internal: Works closely with Finance & Administration Officer, Hospital Administrator, HR, and clinical teams.

External: Liaises with patients, suppliers, service providers, auditors, and statutory bodies.

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications A minimum of a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

A Bachelor’s degree or partial/progress toward CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.

Experience Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar finance or accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, EFRIS systems). Business Understanding / Knowledge Understanding of financial accounting principles and internal controls.

Knowledge of Uganda Revenue Authority statutory requirements (VAT, PAYE, WHT, NSSF). Familiarity with inventory management and reconciliations.
