Retail Associate

We are accepting applications for the following position:

RETAIL ASSOCIATE

The Retail Associate will assist the Retail Supervisor in maintaining a positive work environment by contributing to a culture of teamwork and motivation among associates.

Responsibilities include:

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering inquiries, and offering product recommendations.

Operate cash register and process transactions accurately, efficiently, and courteously.

Execute assigned tasks efficiently to contribute to achieving operational excellence and meeting sales targets.

Assist in planning and implementing in-store promotions and events to drive sales and enhance customer experience.

Maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure visual appeal and adherence to retail merchandising standards.

Assist with inventory management tasks, including restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, stock rotations, and conducting regular inventory counts. Ensure perishables are stored properly.

Follow operational procedures, including store opening/closing procedures, cash handling procedures, and adherence to safety and security protocols.

Collaborate with team members to address customer complaints or operational issues efficiently and effectively.

Showcase complete knowledge of all products available. Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge, customer service skills, and operational efficiency.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth internal processes and a clear understanding of tasks.

Partake in receiving and organizing merchandise.

Other relevant duties may be required from time to time as assigned by the Store Manager

Qualifications:

Must possess a minimum of 1 year of Retail Sales experience

High school diploma

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to lift 50lbs; stand, walk for extended periods of time

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Salary: CI$8.00 per hour

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
