Job Description
Summary:
As a respiratory therapist (RT), you will ensure proper respiratory care and positive patient outcomes in the medical center setting; administer therapy in accordance with the prescription of physician; assess individual patients and design appropriate therapy regimens. Will also monitor, evaluate, and make necessary changes to ensure that all therapy is completed in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing patient needs and identifies expected outcomes.
Implementing Respiratory interventions based on plan of care.
Evaluating care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.
Delivering care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
Qualifications:
Current Wisconsin RRT, CRT or equivalent license.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
PALS certification, within 6 months of hire.
