Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join a reputable Rehabilitation Facility in Clovis, NM. This per-diem position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Ideal for clinicians seeking additional hours or a low-commitment schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Perform evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities
Deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing ADLs, strength, and coordination
Instruct patients and caregivers in the use of adaptive tools and home exercises
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, and physicians
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with clinical protocols
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility guidelines

RequirementsQualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Licensure & Certifications:
Active New Mexico OT license
Current BLS certification
Experience: 1+ year in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
Technical Skills:
Experience in evaluations, treatment planning, and adaptive equipment
EMR documentation proficiency
Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, adaptability, and teamwork
