The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking to fill one (1) Maintenance Repair Worker 2 position.
What You'll do as a Maintenance Repair Worker 2: * Performs semi-skilled maintenance, replacement, minor installation & repair of plumbing equipment (e.g., trap fittings, plumbing fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, & drinking fountains) & electrical equipment (e.g., light fixtures, electrical outlets, switches, appliances, electrical circuits, & intercoms); assists with skilled relocation of data lines during construction projects; assists in painting &/or performs minor painting of fixtures, rooms, buildings, signs & equipment; patches plaster & prepares surfaces for painting.
* Performs carpentry work involving semi-skilled maintenance, alteration &/or repair to equipment & wooden structures (e.g., doors, walls, woodwork, floors, partitions, stairways, furniture, door closers & locks). * Assists in repair & maintenance of interior maintenance equipment; assists with vehicle monitoring & maintenance (e.g., checks transmission fluid, tire air pressure) as assigned; assists with vehicle delivery for repairs as needed; performs interior custodial duties (e.g., mops, sweeps, waxes floors, & washes wall) as assigned; performs exterior groundskeeping duties; removes snow & ice from sidewalks as assigned.
