CLASS 1 DRIVER – TRAMPING (CURTAINSIDER)

MONDAY – FRIDAY Start Times: Flexible PM

SALARY: £40,000 per annum (including night-out allowance)

People Solutions are seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 Tramper Driver for curtainsider work to work for our client, a respected logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for tramping operations

Operate curtainsiders, ensuring loads are secure at all times

Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork

Perform nationwide deliveries with overnight stays (Mon–Fri)

Liaise with planners and customers professionally

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Valid UK Category CE Licence (max 6 points – minor offences only)

Two years’ experience driving Category CE vehicles

Valid CPC and DIGI Card

Previous experience with curtainsiders preferred

Physically fit for occasional manual handling

Experience in tramping work is an advantage

Training Provided:

Full paid induction and onboarding

Mentoring from experienced tramper drivers

Guidance on curtainsider loading, securing, and route procedures
